New Year, New Energy: Kickstarting 2026 at The Venetian

My first wedding of 2026 took me on a short drive to New Jersey, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better start. I spent the day at The Venetian (546 River Drive, Garfield), a venue that manages to be both massive and incredibly intimate at the same time.

From the moment I arrived, the energy was simply impressive. This couple had a vibe that was contagious—the kind of connection that makes every shot feel effortless. As a photographer, you're always looking for that spark, and they had it in spades.

One thing that completely stole my attention was the architecture. I fell in love with the ceiling at The Venetian; the way it was illuminated created this grand, almost cinematic backdrop for the entire night.
